Bovill & Boyd supply a wide range of EMC products manufactured from conductive elastomers typically used for shielding electronic enclosures and connectors to achieve electromagnetic compatibility.

Our product range includes extruded and moulded conductive silicones / fluorosilicones for environmentally harsh requirements.

For less harsh environments we can provide various solutions including vent panels, finger strips, fabric wrap & conductive foams.

We can also offer Flame Retardant materials when required.

Extruded Parts

Screen Printing
Either to produce discreet components or by depositing a gasket directly to a component. Includes Flat Gaskets, Sub ‘D’ Connector Gaskets, Backshell Connector Gaskets.

Duo Seal
Comprising one conductive component to act as an effective EMC gasket joined to a second component that acts as an environmental seal. The environmental seal protects the EMC gasket from contaminants, including moisture, thereby preventing galvanic corrosion.

Fabric Wrap
For use in areas where high shielding levels are required with low closure force.

Finger Stock
Good corrosion resistance and a good compression set mean that these have a long service life. Low closing force and available with a choice of self-adhesive fixing or clip on.

Knitmesh
Manufactured from a single continuous filament and available with or without an elastomeric core. They provide high levels of EMI shielding and are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes.

Shielded Windows
To suit almost any shape or size of window.

Attenuation Vents
A wide range of solutions to be used wherever air flow is required.
