Hamish, Sales Manager at Bovill & Boyd (Engineering) Ltd, took part in a fundraising Marathon Run for Strathcarron Hospice.
Hamish ran his first marathon in Paris on Sunday 3rd April and managed to complete it in 4 hours and 40 minutes. A big WELL DONE!! from everyone at Bovill & Boyd.
Strathcarron Hospice is a very special place providing the highest levels of professional care for people living in Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth. The one thing all of the people who use their services have in common is that they are living with a life-limiting illness or condition. The multi-disciplinary team provide a holistic approach to care, looking after the patient’s well-being as a whole. Every day Strathcarron Hospice demonstrates the core ethos of hospice care. “You matter because you are you and you matter to the last moment of your life”. Strathcarron provide a full range of services which are always provided completely free of charge to their patients and their families and this costs the charity £10,000 each and every day of the year. This includes care for people who are an in-patient or day-care patient or being nursed in their own home as their illness progresses.
